Privacy Policy

This policy describes what Codes&More, a product of 12² AI ("we," "us"), collects, why, and what we do — and don't do — with it.

1. What we collect

Account information. Email, password (stored hashed by our authentication provider), and optionally your name, company, and role.
Lookup and report data. The property addresses and roof/project details you enter, and the reports generated from them.
Service logs. Standard technical logs (IP address, request timestamps) used for security, rate limiting, and debugging.

2. How we use it

To resolve addresses, generate your reports, and operate your account and subscription.
To keep the service secure — for example, per-IP rate limiting on public lookups and signups.
To support you when you contact us.

3. What we don't do

We don't sell lookup data. Addresses you enter are used to generate your results, nothing else.
We don't sell or rent your personal information to anyone.
We don't put marketing in front of your report results.

4. Service providers

We use a small set of infrastructure providers to run the service — including Supabase (authentication and database hosting) and public/government data sources used to resolve jurisdictions and hazards (e.g., U.S. Census geocoding, USGS design data). Address coordinates are sent to those sources as needed to produce your results.

5. Retention and deletion

Account data and reports are retained while your account is active so your report history keeps working. You can delete individual reports in the app at any time. To delete your account and its data, email us and we will process the request promptly.

6. Security

Data is encrypted in transit, access to production data is restricted, and authentication is handled by an industry-standard provider. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects your data we will notify you as required by law.

7. Cookies and tracking

The app stores a session token in your browser's local storage to keep you signed in. We do not use third-party advertising trackers on Codes&More pages.

8. Children

Codes&More is a professional tool and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect their information.

9. Changes

We may update this policy; material changes will be posted here with a new "last updated" date.
